It is a matter of great pride for me, as Chairman of the Governing Body of Navy Medical College, Chattogram, to present this prospectus to prospective students and their families. Bangladesh Navy has always been at the forefront of protecting our nation’s sovereignty, ensuring maritime security, and contributing to national development. Establishing a premier institution for medical education under the Navy’s supervision is a continuation of this commitment to the service of the people of Bangladesh.
Navy Medical College, Chattogram has been founded on three key pillars: Discipline, Academic Excellence, and Service to Humanity. The College will operate under the highest standards of safety, quality assurance, and academic rigor. A distinguished Governing Body composed of members from the Defence Forces, the Ministry of Health, the DGME, BMDC, and academic experts will oversee its operations.
The facilities of NMCC have been designed keeping in mind the needs of the 21st-century physician. From modern lecture halls to simulation laboratories, from cutting-edge dissection halls to digital libraries, every effort has been made to ensure that our students receive the very best in medical training. The association with BNS Patenga, our academic hospital, will expose students to a wide range of clinical experiences under the guidance of expert naval and civilian medical professionals.
It is my firm belief that the graduates of NMCC will emerge as disciplined, dedicated, and competent doctors who will not only serve our nation but also stand tall in the international medical community.
I welcome you to join Navy Medical College, Chattogram — a place where tradition meets innovation, and where future physicians are shaped with values of service, courage, and excellence.
